A short eating disorder poem for a hot day
In the mirror,
There’s a flaw.
Then two, then three —
My heart is raw.
I hate my hips.
I hate my thighs.
I hate my ass.
(I like my eyes.)
I hate my tummy,
Hate my knees.
Make it stop now,
Pretty please.
