Would you want Billy Ray Cyrus as YOUR dad?
I spoke earlier today about dads and the incredible influence they have on their daughters’ eating habits, body image and self-esteem. There’s really no doubt in my mind that they have an enormous influence on the health of the women they raise.
But let’s get beyond theory. Let’s talk real honest-to-goodness dads.
I’d like to start with Billy Ray Cyrus, mainly because of all the hullabaloo over the Miley Cyrus pics that were recently published in “Vanity Fair” magazine.
Here are my questions for you:
1. Do you think Billy Ray is doing the most he can to protect his 15-year-old daughter from succumbing to society’s pressures to be thin and beautiful?
2. Do you think that Billy Ray has acted in the best interest of his daughter… or himself?
3. Would you trade Billy Ray Cyrus for your dad?
